I've just received a Travel Tracker Map - how do I use it?
Unroll your map carefully and flatten it with books or heavy objects for about 24 hours. Then use a coin, guitar pick, folding bone, or chopstick to gently remove the gold foil over the countries or states that you've visited. It's up to you whether you want to scratch off the flags of the countries that you've been to, or if you want to use them to plan your future adventures.
Hang your map in a frame (like this one).
Speaking of framing, what size do I need? Where do I find one? Should I get it matted?

I'm getting a pro to frame my map - can it be matted with heat pressing?
NOOOOOO! BACK AWAY FROM THE HEAT! The foil on the maps is sensitive to heat treatments that many professional framers use for matting. Make sure your technician uses cold press techniques only.
I'm giving this map as a gift (because I'm amazing and the best gift giver ever). Do you include gift wrap?
You ARE the best gift giver ever! But no, we cannot offer gift wrapping at this time. However, most of our maps come in really cool triangular boxes that are totally gift ready. Plus there's no receipt or payment information in the box, so they'll have no idea how much you spent on the gift.
We all know shipping can be tricky. What should I expect?
We work with USPS for the shipment of our packages, which means that you'll receive a tracking number and can follow along with your package as it travels your way. However, that also means that we have literally no control after it leaves our hands. Shipping within the USA generally takes 3-5 business days.
For any issues, we recommend reaching out to your local post office first. You'd be surprised how frequently neighbors accept packages and then forget about it. Sometimes, the USPS driver is new and thinks that your back porch is your front porch and sometimes there's an incomplete address.

If your package is being sent overseas, shipping can take up to 4 weeks. We work with USPS. Keep in mind that sometimes the packages get caught up in customs which can slow things down. Update: Please note that due to Covid-19 there have been delivery delays and/or service interruptions in some countries.

If for some reason your country doesn't appear on our shipping page, just reach out to us at email@example.com and we will work with you to ensure your order arrives in your hands as soon as possible.
I need to make an exchange or a return - what do I do?
If your product was damaged in transit, we will happily send you a brand new map. Just reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo of the damage and we'll get your new map on the road.
If for some reason you aren't completely satisfied with your product, send it back to us unused and we will happily refund your purchase. Ship it back to the address on the box and email us with the tracking number. You can expect a refund as soon as the package is safely back in our hands.
